電影評論：《成為簡‧奧斯汀》（Becoming Jane）珍奧æ
電影《成為簡·奧斯汀》所描寫的是珍奧斯汀的愛情故事。珍奧斯汀一生都沒有結婚，遺留下來的書簡也非常稀少。所以其實這部片只是個關於珍奧斯汀的浪漫奇想：從她的作品中，想像她會做的事情，她會做的抉擇，以及她會愛的男人。喜愛珍奧斯汀的小說，或者喜歡《傲慢與偏見》的人，都會從這部片中得到許多樂趣。這部片的前半段，顯然是故意要讓觀眾回顧《傲慢與偏見》的美好記憶。片中的珍奧斯汀是個文采洋溢，獨立有主見，個性剛烈，但是卻生在一個傳統舊時代的女性。
我覺得導演在這個部份，好像在迷戀著一種懷舊的氛圍。把古典電影或文學中，那種重禮教、重傳統、貧富階級意識，男尊女卑的封建的英國社會，描述得非常具有「文學意味」，陳述當中絲毫不帶批判性，卻讓人想起以前看過的類似電影或小說。例如片中描述英國的社交圈，年輕男女跳著一種鄉村舞蹈，舞伴會換來換去，然後一面換舞伴一面眼神傳情，真是古典浪漫得不得了！飾演珍奧斯汀的演員Anne Hathaway ，一雙眼睛又大又亮，笑起來可愛又迷人，而且會說一口很文謅謅的好聽英語。她執著於寫作，不願意嫁給有錢卻索然無味的男人…然後，一個很帥、聰明、驕傲、會打拳擊、壞壞、還會偶而進出風化場所的年輕准律師出現了。兩個倔強的人，言語經常針鋒相對，私底卻下在偷偷愛。這個男人的個性大家都很熟悉，就是達西先生啊！
雖然這部片和《莎翁情史》一樣，根本懶得去管歷史考據，重點是要和大家一起享受文學家的浪漫愛情，因為這兩個文學家，都寫過流傳千史的愛情故事，卻沒遺留下私人的愛情的記錄。
